Ripa di Porta Ticinese 53
From Monday to Sunday 10:30 – 23:00
If in Italy you are talking about nightlife and aperitifs, the first place that comes to mind is the Navigli in Milan. And it’s right on the Naviglio Grande that we are, in Ripa di Porta Ticinese.
Historic area of old Milan, a popular neighborhood and washerwomen until the 1950s, today it is home to artistic ateliers, creative studios, small fashion ateliers, innovative start-ups, showrooms and galleries, in short, everything that is young, vibrant and international. In the evening, especially in spring and summer, the party is here! Restaurants, bars, pubs and taverns, nightclubs attract thousands of people who meet making this place a truly magical piece of the world, all on the banks of a recently cleaned and navigable canal. Could a piece of Tuscany be missing in such a place? Of course not. The atmosphere of our vintage shop is as always informal but refined, the very romantic environment, furnished with passion, with antique wooden ceilings full of cutting boards, old photos and documents on the walls and then all different tables and tables, salvaged shelving and boiserie. Our environment offers itself as a truly different place from what the area offers (pizza by the slice, cocktails, kebabs or expensive restaurants). Worthy of note is the outdoor area which is heated in winter with lamps and where you eat sitting on wooden school benches while a young and multi-ethnic crowd swarms where once the tram tracks were. In total we can offer about 50 seats outside and 60 internally and for this reason we very often host corporate events, presentations, photo shoots but also graduation parties.
La Prosciutteria di Firenze on Naviglio Grande in Milan practices a very careful pricing policy, for this reason it is often super crowded, booking is recommended! What can you taste with us? Surely the best of tuscan delicatessen. Our main dish is the kilometer cutting boards with cheeses, jams and fruit but also stuffed mashed potatoes and carpaccio, salads, fondues, some hot dishes and our famous tuscan Porchetta which always comes fresh from Chianti. Do not forget the wide selection of wines of our own production or of our friends and the Spritz certainly cannot be missing … but made sure that our best sparkling bubbles!
You can reach the Navigli with the tram lines 2, 14 and 3 (very convenient if you arrive from the Duomo). The Navigli are located near the MM2 Porta Genova stop on the green line metro that leads to the Cadorna, Garibaldi and Centrale stations, and therefore allows you to get off the train and get to the Naviglio Grande without ever changing. Once you get off at Porta Genova, you will take the nearby Via Casale and you will find yourself in front of the “Pont de Fer”, one of the first metal bridges built in Milan.
Finally, we remind you that here as well as in all our places it is possible to go shopping and take home wines, preserves and all products tasted like an old but modern food “shop”.
