The Prosciutteria is not a restaurant: it is a place where people eat, drink and stay together.
Then, what’s the difference with any restaurant? The difference is abysmal: if in any restaurant you find non-artisan but supermarket products, not fresh, not from the area, not typical, substantially “NON products”, at La Prosciutteria you find only the best of the Tuscan and Italian food and wine tradition.

But no, let’s answer! We have NOT INVENTED anything new, it is the others who have forgotten everything! The “Fiaschetteria Osteria” was once the social fulcrum around which the life of a village or a neighborhood revolved: low prices, few products but good, salumi, cold cuts, sandwiches and cheeses some hot dish and glasses of local wine…with a lot of sympathy!
The “Master Chefs” we make them willingly to others: “Cracco”s” would candidly take “2 SCHIAFFI”! The “5 stars” chef “ci spiccia casa”!
La Prosciutteria “history”
La Prosciutteria Firenze was born in via de ’Neri in the historic district of Santa Croce as a sales point of our company in Montespertoli. It is on the Chianti hills, where we produce wine and oil, that all the magic begins. Today there are many places throughout Italy where the flag of La Prosciutteria Firenze is sailing. Ensign of florentine sympathy and very Tuscan taste, we propose ourselves as a special, welcoming and informal little place, without table service, without frills but with a lot of taste where the balancing between monaey and quality is the same that you find when you go to eat from your grandmother (ok we exaggerated , the grandmother is absolutely the best ahahha)
Prosciuttine and prosciuttieri!
The famous PROSCIUTTINE are our “maidens” of the salami … the PROSCIUTTIERI (of the King), as the musketeers defend the true pork leg from evil, from the foreign hams, from the sliced in the tub and from the ham of the supermarket (horrible!)
We are a young place that does not want to be a simple place to eat, but a special and welcoming place to feel at home, whether you want to make a gargantuan dinner or just drink a house wine.
Our “heroes” are our strength and will welcome you, advise you, love you, pamper you, hug you and tell you a sweet word in your ear when you are sad (ok maybe a little less).
