Eat well, drink better, but always with the utmost respect and care not to pollute the environment! We have been making an eco-friendly choice for many years now, replacing plastic with eco-friendly cutlery, placemats, glasses. Climate change is there for all to see. The data on plastic production are constantly growing and are impressive: Asia produces half of all plastic in the world, estimated in 2016 at 335 million tons (1). This is followed by Europe and North America. A few examples: 5 trillion bags and 1 million bottles per day. In Italy, on the other hand, more than two million tons of plastic packaging are consumed annually. As restaurateurs, to date the feedback from our customers is overwhelmingly positive, as the plastic emergency no longer knows any place that can be considered sheltered: we are all required to act responsibly to curb and reverse an out-of-control management of plastic production!
