With a flowery terrace overlooking the square, it is also perfect for private and family events.
Piazza delle Erbe is definitely one of the places to see when passing through the capital of Verona and La Prosciutteria di Firenze certainly couldn’t be missed!
We are located on the left side of the square coming from the Arena, very close to the major tourist attractions such as Juliet’s house, the Ponte di Pietra, Piazza dei Signori. The Pozzo dell’Amore is located right behind our restaurant.
If you love Verona you will surely love La Prosciutteria. A vintage location with a late nineteenth-century atmosphere, well-kept and very particular that make it one of our most fascinating and romantic places. There are about 80 seats distributed between marble, brass, ancient tiles on the walls that act as cladding, reused tables made with the shutters of noble palaces, stools made with fruit crates, the shelves are made with elm wood olive crates. The bathroom is also a gem, with walls covered with wedding photos from the 30s to the 60s.
On the upper floor of the venue, a secluded room will restore your daily labors, a large table at the back, sheltered and separate, can also accommodate business dinners, birthdays and graduation parties.
The “Must” that makes our restaurant unique in the whole city is a delightful flowered terrace with very few tables for two that overlooks the square. A privileged observation point with a breathtaking view that will melt even the hardest of hearts.
As in all our restaurants, even in the one in Verona there are many wines offered by the bottle and by the glass, among which in addition to our very Tuscan labels, the best wines of the Veneto could not be missing, from Amarone to Ripasso, Recioto and Prosecco.
You will taste fantastic cured meats, succulent platters, fondues, some hot dishes and then hand-sliced hams or simply a nice schiacciata perhaps stuffed with ham to be enjoyed sitting or walking through the marble-paved streets, all at a price that will surprise you!
Finally, we remind you that here too, as in all our restaurants, it is possible to do the shopping and take home wines, preserves and all products tasted like an old but modern “grocery store”.
We don’t call them “customers,” but welcome guests, and everyone is welcome in here: from the high-ranking notary to the penniless student; from the straight to the gay; from the carnivore to the vegan to the celiac; from the Italian to the foreigner we welcome everyone–even the Pisans!
